Amazon. comJohn Williams ‘lovely and moving score for the sixth Star Wars film brings thirty years of work on George Lucas’ popular intergalactic franchise over to an end. (Is this really the end of Star Wars? Can not Lucas and Williams work together on a prequel to these predecessors? Let us hope, and that Jar Jar Binks is not by far.) As this music accompanies the most exciting Star Wars film in many of the moon, the soundtrack is more fun, more evil, evil, and more bumpy. Many of the heroic, anthemic themes woven throughout Episode III: Revenge of the Sith will necessarily be familiar to any fan of the series, the “Imperial March” on the main theme. It’s remarkable how stirring the latter can, no matter how many times you have it belongs, and also for those who have not invested all their money in SW memorabilia. There are a lot of new music here, and the lush, extensive range of both Williams and the London Symphony Orchestra is on displa… More>>
Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith – Original Motion Picture Soundtrack

Such a shame that Phantom and Clones are two of the worst films of all time, but their signals Orchestra by John Williams are the one thing that were subsequently able to claim up consistently good. It comes with a DVD-cut with shots from all 6 movies. It would have been even better if the original “THX WOW laserdisc had demo. Finally, a full 2 or 3-Disc Special Ed of the entire score for this film likely to be released. And enough to call these films “consequences” they are, in fact, “Star Wars” – not “Episode 4″, not “A New Hope” “The Empire strikes back” – NOT “Episode 5″ “Return of the Jedi “- not” Episode 6 “The Phantom Menace” – A piece S___ “Attack of the Clones” – A SAGA RUINED “Revenge of the Sith” – LUCAS “FAILURE IS COMPLETE Rating: 3 / 5
That was bad together. I did not like it at all, the music would have been much better. Rating: 1 / 5
The music of this soundtrack is average, mainly because a lot of recycled material from the other movies, and I do not mean that there were recurring themes, as in previous “Star Wars” soundtracks, but the exact same music. For example: “Anakin vs. Obi-Wan” contains “The Clash of Lighsabers” from “The Empire Strikes Back” soundtrack and “A New Hope and End Credits” is basically “The Throne Room / End Title” from which “Star Wars: A New Hope” soundtrack. Even “The High Council Meeting and Qui-Gon’s Funeral”, from Episode I, is to “The Birth of the Twins and Padme’s Destiny.” What I did not really liked was that the “Star Wars: A Musical Journey” DVD : contains the infamous 2004 Amendments to the DVD version of the Star Wars trilogy made. Hayden at the end of “Return of the Jedi”? C’mon! And the emperor strikes back in “The Empire” looks nothing like it in “Return of the Jedi”. If it has for the soundtrack alone, I would give it at least three stars, but not willing to stop and lame changes to the original trilogy, just make me sick. Rating: 1 / 5
I must speak my opinion about this CD and the music of Sith. I would say this, that I am a lifelong fan Williams: Foreword, in fact, to my cynical day I consider him the greatest composers EVER. That is why it is so annoying to see this new Star Wars film and listen to undergo so much of the same music track by track re-used by others in the Sith Star Wars movies. I was really cheesed if they are not (with Lucas AOTC, I had to write to him to complain, but someone has an idea how to actually contact Lucas or Lucasfilm? Is the address posted anywhere? Not that I do. Find), I could really Just want to know: Why? I understand that Williams is older, and perhaps can not be written 2 hours film score (as the score ESB) to commit. . . or has Lucas not like what Williams wrote just cut and most of his new music and replaced it with older Stuff? Or was cheesed Williams at Williams for hackers to TPM and said only a half-effort score for AOTC and Sith? I do not know, but just Sith was semi-disappointing, as scene after scene, you just hear the music and thought, “Oh, the music is from TPM, where Anakin goes beyond the Federation ship” or “This is Bespin lightsaber battle music “, etc etc.. . It’s all very annoying if you’re a big fan of music OT.In any case, I took the CD and it’s good for the most part. It is not an ESB that is clear. Many of the tracks, especially “Anakin’s Betrayal” are very emotional, powerful works. ‘A New Hope’, just before the credits roll on the last track was a joy to hear. How good was “The Immolation Scene ‘a staggering, remarkable scene in the film, and luckily the music on this CD (” You’ve included my brother! “- Lucas finally perfect a scene in his new trilogy) But a big part disappointed in this soundtrack. For example, why do we hear Qui-Gon’s Funeral Music for ‘The Birth Of The Twins / Padme’s Destiny “? Are the two events related in any way? It is frustrating to a certain piece of music in your head that you have selectively combine with another scene in SW and insults your intelligence that “we take this very” somber-sounding “music is in this scene and the public will not go.” I hear the music, and I am reminded to Qui-Gon’s funeral pyre, and now I associate the same music with Padme in childbirth? It raises entirely from the film-watching experience and I feel like a sucker to buy, basically the same music twice (and dollars to donuts The main subject was not re-orchestrated, but only by another Star Wars film also be used again …)” Anakin vs. Obiwan “Same thing. Enjoyable at first (and has a “feeling Harry Potter ‘to it), but then, as if from nowhere, the music starts including ESB Bespin battle music divisions. Suddenly, it’s like I hear the Empire again, and it does not even sound re-recorded, but as a blatant re-use the same music signals. Then again on the new material. Sigh. The end credits are also disappointing… we need a review of the “Leia’s Theme” and “The Throne Room” ANH material from here? The line up, Leia’s Theme, I can understand, but the inclusion of the “throne room” is simply incomprehensible. This is no continuity…. This is blatant re-use. I really want to know who is responsible. … this is just Lucas and the editorial staff, or has committed Williams only in writing, 50% score for health reasons, why they do that? “What I wish they had: If in fact the reason that Williams’ music is so poorly is because of his age and health, why could not he have written coupled with another composer, the composer and this could provide some of the other incidental music (like the Wookie battle scene, which featured music reused TPM) or other sequences in the film, so that the total score could be an entirely original 2-CD were recruited? I know you all want to constantly Williams and praise me too, believe me, I can not get enough of his music (Big Hits and smaller movies … I think “The Accidental, a tourist” of his finest works, a CD that most people never even heard). But this film, and this score really disappointed to be honest (I know …. I know, “How dare he put Star Wars and Williams!? “0 of 900,000 people found this review helpful…. sigh….) Rating: 3 / 5
The theme for Battle of the Heroes sounds very much like the Dies Irae theme from “Symphonie Fantastique’s Songe d’une nuit Shabbat” by Hector Berlioz. Rating: 3 / 5
